Sometimes when you're knitting you just need a friend, a knitting friend. Someone to tell you you're not doing it wrong and it's going to look great. I've been reminded of this on a couple of occasions lately as I have been trying to help a friend finish a project. We can't seem to find a time to get together and she doesn't know other knitters who can help her out so she's stuck. She knows what to do, she just needs a knitting friend to tell her she's doing it right.
I've been very lucky to have some excellent knitting friends in my life, actually knitting family. They are always ready at a moment's notice to talk me through a difficult pattern or make sure I'm doing it right, and in the worst case, tell me I'm doing it wrong and how to do it the right way.
